For serious traders and investors overseeing meaningful capital who want more than a sequence of lessons. Bring your market views, portfolio questions and the assumptions you want challenged. No public minimum account size is required.
Michael’s background includes fund management, co-founding TempleFX and building investment strategies and portfolios at TradeAlgo. About Michael and Traders Temple.
Examine macro conditions, sector leadership, market rotation, cross-asset relationships and changing asset-class conditions.
Use a redacted portfolio as an educational case study to examine concentration, diversification, overlapping exposures, portfolio construction principles, thesis structure, risk and drawdown.
Return to the original thesis. Revisit its assumptions, what changed, what still holds and what deserves further investigation.
Discuss FX, indices, single stocks, commodities, precious metals and the relationships between equities, currencies, commodities, rates and sectors. Basic options concepts, including calls and puts, can also form part of the educational work.

Total programme fee · 12 months
60 minutes each, approximately fortnightly.
90 minutes each, around months 3, 6, 9 and 12. The month-12 review is the fourth review, not an additional fifth.
Agreed material before sessions, a written recap within two working days, email access with one thread per topic, and a monthly check-in. Replies by the next working day. Written support about the work, not live monitoring or checks on open trades.
Return to earlier discussions and review how thinking and process evolve through changing market conditions. Priority for unallocated appointments preserves existing client bookings.
The fee reserves time, preparation and attention across a full year. Michael retains the context of earlier discussions, challenges new ideas against it and returns with you to the bigger picture. The value is a continuing strategic relationship, not simply a larger number of sessions.
Apply for The YearThe Year is not for everyone.
It suits people prepared to bring ideas, examine assumptions and return to the work. If you want someone to make the decisions for you, this is the wrong relationship.
Application, review and a 30-minute introductory call come before an offer. Availability depends on Michael’s diary and existing commitments. Each Year relationship reserves preparation and attention across twelve months. Availability is confirmed during the introduction, before any offer is made.
Application, review and a 30-minute introductory call. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
Agree the scope, annual structure and conditions.
In full, or by instalments on the longer programmes, as set out in the offer. First payment before the first session.
Agree the dated appointment schedule with your offer. The first payment is due before paid sessions begin.
You send the form. Michael reviews it and we aim to respond within 48 hours. If the work looks like a fit, you receive a link to choose a time for a 30-minute introductory call. After that conversation, if you want to proceed, you receive a written offer setting out the scope, the annual structure and the conditions, and a proposed appointment schedule. Nothing is booked and nothing is paid for until you decide.
Each review is 90 minutes, around months 3, 6, 9 and 12, and steps back from the fortnightly sessions. We return to the thesis you started the period with. What changed in the market, what changed in your thinking, which assumptions held and which did not. We look at how the portfolio has been constructed and revised across the period, and at the reasoning behind those revisions. We also review the process itself: what you set out to change, whether it held under pressure, and what still needs work. The month-12 review closes the year. It is the fourth review, not an additional fifth.
It depends on what is already booked. Michael's time is allocated as it is committed, and each Year relationship reserves preparation and attention across twelve months. Availability is confirmed during the introduction, before any offer is made. If nothing suitable is open, we will tell you when it is likely to be.
Your programme is a commitment over an agreed period, rather than a pay-as-you-go service. UK consumers normally have 14 days after the day the contract is agreed to cancel. If you expressly request an earlier start, statutory rules govern any charge for services supplied during that period. After that period, a change of mind does not automatically entitle you to a refund of all unused sessions. Settlement covers work supplied and reasonable, evidenced net losses caused by cancellation, less saved costs and recovered income, without double charging. We provide an itemised calculation. Any balance due to you is refunded; any justified outstanding amount is explained. The combined charge cannot exceed the programme fee. A pause or transfer to another available TT service may be agreed but does not replace a cash refund you are legally entitled to. Full conditions are supplied with your offer before you commit. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Yes, once. The year can be paused a single time for up to eight weeks, agreed in advance, and the end date moves back by the same period. Instalment dates and the fee do not change. Sessions cannot be banked or carried beyond the extended end date.
It ends. The relationship closes at the month-12 review. There is no automatic renewal and no rolling charge. If you and Michael both want to continue, another year is agreed in writing as a new programme. Current Year clients have first refusal on continuing before that time is offered elsewhere, subject to Michael continuing to offer the service.
No. This is education and general market analysis, not personal investment advice or a signal service. Michael helps you examine your thinking and process; your decisions remain yours. There is no portfolio management, execution or account control, and no promise of returns.
We agree and confirm your dated appointment schedule when you accept the offer, with your own time zone shown. All Correction and Quarter sessions are scheduled at the start. The Half-Year and Year have an agreed fortnightly pattern and their additional reviews scheduled at the start, across the full programme window. New or replacement dates must be agreed at least 48 hours ahead; existing dates do not need reconfirmation. Each appointment may be rescheduled once without charge with at least 48 hours notice. Further changes require agreement and availability within the programme window. Cancelling again may mean no replacement; payment is settled under the programme conditions, not automatically forfeited. Late cancellation or a no-show may incur an actual net-loss charge, capped at £400 for 60 minutes or £600 for 90 minutes, reduced by saved costs and recovered time or income. If you have not joined within 15 minutes, Michael need not remain available; tell us about delays or technical problems so we can consider the remaining time or a replacement. A late start does not extend the original end time. Mentor-caused changes do not use your allowance. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
You receive a written recap within two working days. The Year includes email access, with one thread per topic, and a monthly check-in. Replies come by the next working day. This is written support about the work, not live monitoring or checks on open trades.
Yes. The Year is payable in full or in four quarterly instalments, interest-free. The first payment is before the first session, with the remaining dates set out in your offer. If a payment is missed, we contact you and may suspend future appointments. If the programme ends, the balance is settled under the agreed cancellation conditions.
Recording is off by default. Any exception needs prior agreement and explicit consent covering use, access and retention.
